hair care   Hair Care

No matter our age, we women are always looking to improve our hair care. I have a vanity devoted to just that. I have the shampoo and conditioner of my choice, as well as hairspray, a straightener, a curling iron, blow dryer and hot rollers. I also have a box of hair accessories such as bands, barrettes and clips. All my hair care products are kept together in that corner of the bathroom.

I think hair care defines who we are on a lot of levels. It used to be I could not even go to the corner store without having every hair in place. I believe when we feel good about how we look we show that confidence to others. Hair care is part of that self-image.

Although I am now in my forties and much more relaxed, hair care is still just as much a part of my daily hygiene and I still feel at my best when I have fixed my hair the way I want it for the day, evening or special occasion I might be preparing for. Whether I choose to wear it straight that day or have it wavy, curled or put it up for a dinner on the town, my hair care shows me and others that I feel worthy of the extra time to do what is needed with my hair.
