bubble bath, skin creamsI usually have a relaxing bubble bath as opposed to a shower at least twice a week and I have loved them since I was tiny. However I do not think that I have ever enjoyed a bubble bath more than the one I had last night. I had my bubble bath at the end of a three day camping trip staying at a site where the only source of water was a cold creek. Staying at this camping site taught me how much I generally take things like bubble baths, skin creams, fragrance perfume and hair care products because I couldn’t use these things during the trip. It also reminded me that in times gone by things like bubble baths were the privilege of people with money and that most people had to make do with a dip in a creek or something similar.  It’s hard to imagine that some people in other parts of the world still live like that today. Here in modern day USA things like bubble baths, luxury skin creams and perfume for women are things that almost everybody can easily afford. Really we don’t know how lucky we are.
